This man is my idol, he takes pictures of people and draws and paints huge copies in such detail. He has done work for playboy and other magazines. Juan Francisco Casas Ruiz was born in La Carolina, Jaén, 21 September 1976.
I came across his work when a facebook friend posted a link to a website displaying some of his work. I really enjoyed looking at his paintings and drawings and i think that my new project kind of relates to his work in the sense that i am now studying people, their faces and their reactions to camera's.
Here are a few examples of his work, i had to select carefully because some can be quite indecent.
